What is the process of getting your name in to be President of USA?

I understand the constitutional requirements to be the USA president, but who and when does notifacation have to be with. I think there are ways to even be a candidate with only enough signatures. Basically, what is the paper trail that puts a person on the ballot in the 50 states to be president of the USA.

Loyalty is an admirable virtue,but this president’s stubborness on continueing with this war and his stance on immigration will be the end of the republican party,where is the loyalty of the republican representative’s loyalty to his constituents,even the voters on the democratic side were rooting for the republicans to defeat that insane immigration bill.Bush will go down as the worst president ever,the republican party does not need to follow that kind of leadership.

Poor slumping economy,
increase in the nation’s deficit,
increasing job loss,
poor relations overseas and in the eyes of the international community.
Having YouTube videos make fun of your screw ups.
The burden of cleaning up after the previous president(s) while building a defining legacy of your own.

Why would anyone want the job?

How can I start campaigning now for Student Council President?

Last year I campaigned for Student Council Vice President. However, I ran unsuccessfully. But this year I really want to win! In my school there are more girls than boys so a majority of the girls would side with the girl candidate. But I have really been thinking about this election since I lost in June. And the next election isn’t until June. I am pretty sure that I will run against the same person. Please give me some advice. I REALLY WANT TO WIN!
