The nurse recently told me that my Doctor added a new Doctor to his Practice. If I want to continue to see my primary, should I be able to? Or, if I request the nurse to have my Primary call me about this, shouldn’t he? Thank You

Im a high school junior interested in becoming one. I want to know how long it takes. Also how long does a Prephysician Assistant degree take?

I am currently a sophmore undergraduate student who is very interested in a health care career. I am trying to decide between the various options, and in Money magazine I came across this statement made that said that true: physician assistants do get paid nearly half what doctors make, but they have a better lifestyle in general and less stress associated with their work. Do you feel like this makes up for a less income, or do you feel like ultimately the best job would be an MD. Also, I’ve heard stories that it is harder to get into a PA school simply because they have a smaller class size and look for people who have experience working with patients. How hard would it be for me to get accepted at a PA school with a bachelors degree only? Also, for any doctors out there, I would love to hear some insight as to how you feel about being an MD versus having taken a different route and being only a PA. Also, any advice to a pre-health student would be much appreciated!

I was considering this as an alternative to being a doctor…but can anyone explain it to me a little better? And do you still need to go to med school for this career?

He may have moved out of town. Is there a Web-Site for a search like this? ( In the U.S.A. )
He is still a Physician …he just moved his location..maybe to another state.

I ask, do physicians have to offer health care to somebody they don’t want to? Not on the level of the insurance company, but with regard to the doctors. Do they have to offer you health care?

Because as we all know, physicians work hard to get where they are, and to do what they do. But, do they have to accept the insurance.
