I need websites talking about Missionary Agencies and what they do with support raised by missionaries?

Thursday, February 26th, 2009

HELP!!! I have a paper due tomorrow on issues and trends in the 21st century missions movement.
I need to find some websites that discuss how Missionary Agencies handle the funds that Missionaries have raised for their support. Such as does all of the support go to the missionary? Or, does the support go into a “big pot” that all the missionaries share? How much does the missionary agency take from the missionaries support for their own support?

I really need this soon like I said the paper is due tomorrow, and I need more sources. HELP ME!!!!!

I like this LDS Missionary Elder?

Friday, February 6th, 2009

I have deep feelings for a missionary Elder that comes to my house to visit me as a friend. He tried to convert me to his church but didn’t succeed. But he would still come by to visit me with his partner. Is it possible that he liked me. I fell for him because he’s been visitng me for about 4 months. Now he’s gone to another town and I didn’t get his information to keep intouch. Do you have any Idea how I can get a hold of him. Would it be possible while he’s still on a mission? I really like him and would love to keep in touch!

in the 1800s, how did european countries begin to increase theie contact with africa?

Saturday, January 17th, 2009

1. they sent explorers to puseh into the interior of africa and missionaries to convert people to christianity.
2. they increased trade with africa and imported more african slaves to their countries.
3. they redirected trade routes so that they could become more familiar with african territory.
4. they sent physicians and scientists to improve the standard of living for many african people.
