Has anyone used Hard Drive Mechanic Gold to repair a failing hard drive?

I have an Archos Jukebox mp3 player….which is one of the earlier, original type of mp3 players. The Archos uses as the storage system an actual laptop hard drive. Well, it’s about 5 years old and the hard drive is starting to not start properly at times. I found Hard Drive Mechanic Gold on the web and it claims to be able to fix and repair hard drives.

Does anyone have any luck with this?

i need a good porsche mechanic in my area?

if i’m to buy a used porsche, how do i support my car’s good health by finding a good mechanic? i don’t know anybody that has a porsche so how do i know i won’t be taken? i’m not sure the cheapest or most expensive price could be a gauge? if i’ve been to porsche school, i’d want to charge the most because i’ve been trained. on the other hand, i wouldn’t want to rip my customers.

is there a website that shows mechanics that are good in your area?

How do I get a car inspected and or looked over by a mechanic of my choice?

I am purchasing a used car and although the dealers and privates sellers say it is State inspected, I want my own guy to check it out. I also want him to check if there are any problems that the seller isn’t disclosing to me. Now my question is how do I get the vehicle checked?

Does my mechanic go to the dealer/private seller. Or does the dealer/private seller transport the vehicle to the mechanic shop? If so do I pay for transporting the vehicle. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. this is my first car so I am very nervous.
