are you a FOOTBALL-IC HISTORIAN?
Monday, September 14th, 2009Does anybody have a degree in Art History?
Sunday, September 6th, 2009I took one Art History course last year for my general education requirements and I fell in love with it. In fact, I did so well that I decided that this was something I could definitely get into for the rest of my life. It encompasses everything I love- history, philosophy, theology, and human psychology. However, what does one do with such a degree? Become a historian or a curator? Study to become a professor? I’m curious if anyone out there has a similar degree or predicament.

what were the failures of christopher columbus on his voyages?
Saturday, August 1st, 2009Why are Northerners so ignorant about the Civil War that they Won?
Saturday, May 16th, 2009They are great at calling Southerners names like racist, redneck, and inbred, yet they can’t tell us their General’s who mattered, asides from Grant or Sherman. They only had one Good Calvary officer Sheridan, while the South had Many and most of them were never defeated in Battle. Most of the Great Historians happen to live in the South and yet Northerners never seem to have an indepth knowledge about the war they won. Why is your education so inadequate Northerners?

Why do many historians forget about the 700 Thespians who stood with the 300 Spartans?
Thursday, May 14th, 2009Yes, three-hundred Spartans do get all the credit for heroically standing against the Persian army, and people think that was all the Greek forces who didn’t withdraw. However, 700 Thespians stood along side the Spartans and also met their deaths in that hopeless situation at Thermopylae in 480 B.C.
The Thespians, though, do have monument at the battlefield.
Oh, forgot about the 400 Thebans which brought King Leonidas’ force to 1400 Greeks.
